A Little Bit about Me and My Art.​

My name is Rebekah and painting is my passion. My favourite subjects are animals especially dogs, cats and also rats. But I find that my interests in these alternate and when I explore a subject I tend to become obessed artistically and in a manner which animates me. This is partly to do with the fact that I have aspergus syndrome and I find that my paintings often reflect my obsessions. My body of work includes animals and portraits and sketches exploring various creations such as "Bone People", "Libby the Bride" and "Haircuts" which are of various forms and shapes. I have not illustrated the creations behind these as I wanted my images to speak for themselves and be interpreted in their own right, however I am happy to tell you more behind each creation when you drop me a line.

I have been commisioned to do portraits and pictures of animals. At the moment I am in the process of painting someones dog. I am happy to hear about any commisions and ideas you have in mind.
